Most comfortable - These shoes are really superb. There is no break-in time needed, just put them on and go. I have had them in several different colors through the years. The leather holds their shape better than the suede. I wish that they came in more fun colors such as pink, yellow, blue, etc. I wear them all year round here in California. I have had several foot problems including Plantar Fascitis and these shoes really rate at the top for comfort. Believe me, I have tried every top name comfort shoe and these are among the most comfortable; no breaking in time.

I’ve been trying to find sandals like some Springers I bought years ago. They were like these, but with laces rather than buckles. These are almost as good, but not quite. Bandolino Callout Sandals, They will do, but I won’t be trying to replace them 15 years later like my old ones. Excellent response to my order - I ordered my shoes on Wednesday late afternoon and had them in my hand the very next day. The shoes were just what I wanted and the fast response was unbelievable.

Comfort - I love the shoes, but I got them to go on vacation. Without getting used to the shoes I wore them to go golfing. I did have a little discomfort after 9 holes. They are not made for this activity, but I can’t imagine doing this with any other pair of shoes. My Tour of Italy - Was taking another trip to Italy and decided to invest in a pair of Clark’s Sandals. I wore these shoes every day and night and never had an uncomfortable moment. These sandals have been from Rome to Pompeii to Capri. They, and I, enjoyed every moment of the tour. I had them in tan and I wore them completely out, it was so wonderful to find them on this website. I orderred a new pair in blue and can’t wait for the weather to warm up so that I can wear them. Zappos service is the best ever.

No breaking-in period needed–very comfortable. I had previously had it in white, but that was discontinued so I ordered the taupe (suede). It’s great! I have bad arthritis in my feet and am limited in which styles I can wear. This is one of the few styles I’m comfortable in. I bought a shoe very similar in looks in Europe - the only difference being the sling-back, which on mine is adjustable. I have a very narrow heel and when I adjust to it my whole foot slides forward. So the problem is the fit on the heel. Otherwise I’m sure it would be fine. I wore Clarks shoes 55 yrs ago in the UK, but then I didn’t have to be fussy about comfort.
