A comfortable and shiny everyday work shoe - This shoe is one of my more comfortable work shoes. I find pretty much all heels to be at least somewhat uncomfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised by these. Also, in my opinion, the picture of the shoe does not do it justice. I liked the look of the shoe a lot more than I expected to from the picture. It is also shiny, which makes it look more special. When I know I will have to walk more than usual and I still need to look nice, I wear this shoe.
MARY P. this is the most comfortable sandle you will own,..I guarantee it. So it isn’t that slick looking, but your feet will never tire. When it’s hot out, this is the one to reach for. Most of your foot is exposed for air, and it never gets clammy or sticky like some sandals do in the heat. I wish I tried this Clarks sandal first before buying the several other brands I purchased looking for comfort.
A few years ago I bought my first pair of Clark’s Sunbeat. I wanted another pair and found it difficult to buy a wide from local stores in my area until my sister told me about Zappos. Bandolino Lacie Shoes, I ordered the sandals on Saturday and was wearing them by Wednesday of the next week. I even took them on vacation! Thank you Zappos for your service.
Not what they used to be!! I truly wish people would learn that those of us who purchase this product are not looking for bargains. For bargains, I could go to Walmart! No, we are looking for comfort, appearance and durability. But COMFORT IS OF PRIME IMPORTANCE. I believe the price of about $65.00 is the same I paid for the pair I bought 15 years ago. That surprised me as I certainly expected a higher price. That should have tipped me off. No, the shoe is not what it used to be. It fits OK, but I find it needs “breaking in”. The leather upper is not as soft, rather stiff actually. The sole is definitely not nearly as springy (I have a bad back!) and that is a real disappointment. The strap behind the heel, the sling-back, is no longer adjustable. If you have a small heel, the strap is too loose, and that is not comfortable. I am sorry I do not have a better review, but you asked for the truth. I would glady pay $95.00 for the shoe, even up to $125.00, willingly and happily, if I could have the quality I had before. Sincerely, Barbara N.
Very pleased with Clark’s Sunbeat - I have 4 pairs of Clark’s Sunbeat and love them. One pair is at least 10 years old and the soul is about shot. They are red and I have looked and looked for another pair of red ones and can’t find them. I have black ones, blues ones, mushroom ones and the worn out red ones.
Outstanding comfort! This shoe is just plain fantastic. It fit like a glove and I could just put them on and walk/stand all day in them without any pinching or rubbing; they did not have to be broken in. I recommend them for anyone with hard-to-fit sized feet; they are easily adjusted. Buy a pair for your mom, too!
Like walking barefoot, only better - These are so comfortable, with just enough support. I’m on my feet all day and these feel as good at the end of the day as they do at the beginning.
